Belgium-based Stal Collectief have created the Eliz Lamp. The lamp base is made of thin metal and the hood structure is made of birch plywood. The large felt hood creates a contrast with the elegant base. The synthetic felt used to cover the hood can be replaced by veneer or a plexiglass cover for outdoor use.

Following is some information from the designers, “This adjustable lamp creates an intimate space and ensures a pleasant light zone and can be used in living room, waiting rooms, restaurants or as event furniture.

This creation is the result of a collaboration between four young furniture designers who studied in Mechelen: Len de Paepe, Bob Segers, Tim Vranken and Jonas Blondeel.”
