Summer House Skatoy by Filter Arkitekter As
Norwegian practice Filter Arkitekter As have designed a summer house in Skatoy island in the Kragerø archipelago, on the South coast of Norway. The summer house is built on the footprint of an old cottage from the 40’s, damaged by dry rot. The building opens up towards the beautiful archipelago and has two volumes. One volume contains sleeping area and the other living and dining areas. The summer house is clad in untreated timber, dry stone walls and sedum on the roof.
