Switzerland-based company Bagno Sasso has created the Ocean Shell bathtub. The unique shape of the bathtub is inspired by the sea shell and is produced using selected technologies from Formula One. Each and every bathtub in the series is indisputably unique, as they are made by hand to maintain the exclusivity of each wooden structure.

Salzburg-based design studio Corcel has designed a futuristic bathtub made of carbon fiber. This amazing limited edition all-black bathtub is called as 'No 1". The design of the bathtub is very dynamic and tempting with its racy streamlines and curves making it irresistible. The use of carbon fiber means the bathtub is extremely light and durable. Italian furniture brand Lago has designed this amazing peeled-back sink, Lavabo Skin. The curved metal sink is covered in mosaic in such a way that it seems to come away from the wall almost as if it were a skin. The area behind the sink is left unfinished which looks as if the washbasin has been just detached from it. Istanbul-based design studio Nuvist has designed the Charme bathtub. Following is some information from the designers, “Charme bathtub defines a new typology in bathtub design. We have designed Charme for continuity unique form which has transition between watering system function, comfortable seating idea, and also singular continuous form. Side parts of back rest area of Charme form provide arm resting area during the bath period such as sofa has and also control buttons for the watering system.

Italian designer Matteo Thun has designed the “Invisible” bathroom collection for RAPSEL. The unique bathroom design made of larch wood is consists of a WC, a Wash Basin of 120 cm width with patent registered overflow and a shower bath. Here is a description from the designer, “The new “invisible” bathroom for RAPSEL, impresses with few lines and innovative forms. Washing Basin, Shower and WC ‘hide away’, almost disappear and become geometric modules that function as sculptural shelves. Clarity and aesthetic constancy direct this effortless design and keep it as pure as possible.

Italian designer Moreno Ratti has designed the Nessie, a bathtub inspired by the old cast iron bathtubs. In designer’s words, “With the concept Nessie trying to give new importance to old bathtubs made of cast iron, revisited through a language soft and fresh. Two shells made of recycled aluminium (environmental) welded together, create a profile of a sea monster (Nessie) colorful and customizable. While the color of the outer shell is neutral (white), so as to emphasize the sinuous lines, the inner shell is blue, the color of the region.”

French designer Mickael Chrost has designed the Bamboo Fountain, a water tap inspired by Asian bamboo fountains. In designer’s words, “The water falls voluntarily in a slow fashion to avoid waste in the sink. Control temperature easily with a sensitive display on top. As bamboo, the tap integrates a purifying cartridge to clean water from impurities. Moreover, additional cartridges bring you some dietary elements as Calcium, Iron or Potassium your body requires.”
