Italian kitchen manufacturer Cesar has created the Kalea kitchen series. Designed by Gian Vittorio Plazzogna, the kitchen collection is a part of the Cesar Arrendamenti collection. The kitchen features a contemporary design that differs from the traditional kitchen layouts. The kitchen doors and cabinets have different heights and widths like a pieces of puzzle, making it more dynamic and versatile. Take a look at the pictures.

Moscow-based designer Olga Kryukova has designed the Origami-mi Kitchen. As the name indicates, the kitchen design is inspired by the ancient Japanese craft origami. The basis of this kitchen is a metal tube frame on which the storage boxes are mounted. The use of a solid metal frame allows the kitchen unit to stand without the need of any walls. Sandwich panels are used for the front doors and drawers.

German kitchen manufacturer Alno has created the Marecucina kitchen series. The kitchen counters and islands in this kitchen series have a boat-like form inspired by the maritime lifestyle. The two-tone color scheme and the boat-like round edges make this kitchen design very unique and elegant. In designer's words, "This unique kitchen‘s elegant form pays tribute to the maritime lifestyle. An association which we have intended symbolically: every member of the crew counts both at home and on a ship sailing at full speed."

GD Cucine, a New York-based kitchen brand has created the Mare Kitchen concept. The kitchen is built using different layers of materials to meld with the modern living room. The countertops are made of honed grey Aurisina stone, taken from deep sea caves. The unique texture of the stone evoke a sense of lightness and ocean breeze. The Azure glass overhead cabinets cast a watery tone to the kitchen.

Cuisine K1 is a super-compact kitchen designed by Kitchoo. The footprint and outer dimensions of the kitchen are very small yet it provides all the basic functionalities of a normal kitchen. This minimal kitchen design is an ideal solution for small studio apartments. Flip open the kitchen top and you will find a sink, two induction hot plates and some space for food preparation. There are two drawers on the left side; one for the storage and other for the garbage collection. On the right side there is mini fridge for storing vegetables and food.

The Netherlands-based designer Johanneke Procee has designed an interesting compact kitchen concept called Keukenkabinet in collaboration with Plugers & Vercoulen. Designed for small spaces, the foldable kitchen hides most of its parts when not in use, saving some useful space. The compact kitchen was designed keeping in mind the increasing number of small studio apartments in the city. In most of these compact living spaces, the cooking and sleeping functions are limited to the same room. The designer re-evaluated the role of kitchen furniture to suit these compact apartments.

This new kitchen unit, Gorenje designed by Goran "Goci" Bjelajac redefines the meaning of flexibility and modularity in modern kitchen design. The foldable kitchen concept is consists of 4 products that may be used as separate elements; Ice hot – fridge/deepfreeze/oven, Dishmaster – dishwasher, Sidecooker/ a cook top and Panneli – screens. All kitchen elements feature same size and are mounted on the mobile screens or Panneli. You can easily change the appearance and functionality of the kitchen by mounting or dismounting the kitchen appliances you need.
INO Leone Kitchen by Toyo Kitchen

INO Leone is a new kitchen concept designed by Japanese company Toyo Kitchen. The design is based on the kitchen-centered lifestyle concept of “Living in your kitchen”. The main feature of the kitchen design is the unique T-shaped base that is integrated with the countertop. Each T-shaped base comes with a winged lion emblem made of brass with an antique, sophisticated finish. In designer’s words, “Leone is truly an objet d'art that redesigns the entire space. Different angles reveal different expressions of this beautiful work, which was created through cutting-edge technology and careful attention to every detail.
