Voltasol, rotating pot that follows the movement of the sun

Modern flowerpots Voltasol behave much like sunflowers and easily turn to the sun. Made by Spanish designer Javier Mora from the studio Bag Disseny, the pots are flexible, and unlike most pots it has conical bottom which gives balance to avoid damage during strong wind and obtain a sufficient stream of sunlight.

Mora designed the pots inspired by the movement of sunflowers, so that every plant could follow the trajectory of the sun in order to promote the movement of plants and help them grow better.

The pots are made of red ceramic and partially covered with a fresh, modern color that fits every interior. “Voltasol”, the first mobile pots were awarded the prestigious “Red Dot Design Award” for 2015.
