Copenhagen based practice Leth & Gori have designed the Brick House in Nyborg, Denmark. The contemporary sustainable house is built using materials and solutions from historic houses which have proven to be robust and have a long life span. The basic object was to create a house which is maintenance free for 50 years and has a lifespan of minimum 150 years. The maintenance-free interior features exposed clay blocks and raw plywood. The Brick House is a part of Mini-CO2 development project initiated by the philanthropic foundation Realdani.
