The Tye River cabin, located in Skykomish, Washington was designed by Olson Kundig Allen Architects. This natural cabin design measures 600 square feet and is nestled on a nine-acre piece of property surrounded by forest with a river flowing through the site. This retreat is essentially a wooden tent on a platform that opens to the forest and river. Materials used in the building are weather-proof and are allowed to merge with the site.
