The Lift is a unique house designed by Apollo Architects & Associates for a couple working for energy companies, near downtown Sendai. The ground floor of the architecture houses bedroom and a sound proof room for movies and audio. The second floor which is arranged around a courtyard in the center is single and continuous space with a children bedroom, living room, dining hall and kitchen which leads to open terrace with sloping façade which protrudes over a large and spacious garage for car and couple of bikes. The house is compact and creates a deep space feel to fully enjoy the urban life. Check out the pictures.
