Japanese architect Studio Green Blue designed this minimalist modern living space, located on the borderline between the wheat and the residence area in Takasaki, Gunma. It is a duplex house designed for a young couple and their mother. The living space is divided for the couple and their mother, and it’s designed in such a way that the couple can hear the voice of their mother in an emergency. The house is a three story building with the third floor is designed to enjoy the fine view of environment while the second floor has the bedroom and a library for couple. For convenient purpose, the mother’s room is situated in first floor. There is a staircase connecting the three floors with gratings covering the staircase in each floor. The people can easily communicate from different floor as the gratings allow easy passage to sounds. Check out the pictures.
