The long-awaited Hilton Hotel opened the doors to the public within the airport Schiphol in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Designed by Dutch architectural studio Mecanoo, the hotel which is the new commercial symbol of Amsterdam, is distinguished by a striking square structure, windows in diamond shapes and a spacious 42-meter high atrium.
The vast atrium of the hotel is the main protagonist and has the supremacy in the space. Centrally placed with high ceiling and glass roof, it is the heart of the architectural structure.
Hilton Hotel consists of 433 guest rooms, a conference center with 23 meeting rooms, a hall for events with a capacity of 640 guests, restaurant, spa center, gym and underground parking with a capacity of 135 parking spaces.
