The new trend in green architecture is Passive Solar Building Design. In this design, building is equipped with materials and technologies which can collect solar energy during winter and repel excess solar heat in summer, keeping the building cool and airy. Christina Zerva Architects designed a new passive solar house in Nikaja, Greece. The exterior of the building has three volumes separated by mirrored glass bridges. The large portion of the exterior is designed with solar panels, which helps to produce solar energy. The house looks surprisingly modern from all angles with those large panels. The same applies to inside design also. the house is very modern in all aspects. This residence houses state of the art furniture and decorative elements which mange to astonish everyone. If green architecture continues to be this beautiful then sure it’s a big thing of the future in Interior Design and Architecture.
