Renzo Piano has unveiled the design for the new skyscraper in collaboration with the leading British construction company “Sellar Property Group” for the central London District of Paddington. The multifunctional tower that will be 224 meters high and will have 65 floors is part of a plan for the reconstruction and revitalization of the district.
The bright cylindrical skyscraper will be the fourth highest residential, commercial and office building in London that will include 200 new homes, as well as numerous business and commercial areas, restaurants and cafes, a public roof garden, and it is planned to be completed by 2020 .
The reconstruction and revitalization of the district is the primary goal of the project by Renzo Piano. Taking into account the current situation of Paddington, yearning for a refreshing and upgrading, it offers a solution that will significantly improve the urban life in this area.
