This spectacular summer house located on the coast of Vestfold, Norway was designed by architects Einar Jarmund, Hakon Vigsnaes and Jan Stavik. The building maintained the shape, scale, color and material of the old construction it replaced. The way it blends with the surrounding landscape and the stylish lap pool makes this architecture truly unique. The terrace offers some breathtaking views. The outside of the structure is built with stone and ebony wood to match the landscape.

“The building settles on an existing stonewall, close to the ocean shore. Outdoor areas protected from the rough winds and the scale and rhythm of the rocky landscape is reflected in the cuts and sectional variations of the building.” – JVA
