Chilean practice Panorama have designed a sauna in Lago Ranco, Chile. The building is situated over a dark granite rock at the shore surrounded by mountain cypresses. The building consists of a sauna with a roofed terrace and a changing room, with each of them having a different view from the rock to the lake. The different sections of the sauna are connected by a north-south oriented circulation. The exterior of the sauna is clad in oak wood and the interior is clad in Alamo, a kind of cottonwood tree.
