Italian architectural practice modostudio has transformed an old agricultural warehouse into a house in Monte Argentario National Park, Italy. The site is located on the top of a hill with an amazing view to the sea and islands. The house is built using recovery stones from the old building. The roof is designed according to a local tradition. The new openings create windows which allow to enjoy the beautiful view from all the sides of the house. The width of the windows are covered with stones and white plaster to create a sophisticated atmosphere which gives a strong image to the building. The house heating is completely self sufficient with passive solar systems.
