This small family guest house is located in the hills of Bologna in northern Italy. Designed by Italian practice Enrico Iascone Architects, the house is covered with wooden panels of grey color to match the tone of surrounding forest and landscape. The design of the gust house emphasizes the relationship between architecture and landscape. The exterior wooden coating has small rectangular holes that allow light into the interiors. The center point of the building is the living/cooking/dining area with a large window allowing enough light to brighten the interior. The large glass window also provides a magnificent view of the outside forest. The guest house is built with energy saving features.
