Architects from MVRDV have created a new home called balancing barn. As name suggests this house is 30 meter long and cantilevered one side. This building is actually a holiday home and can accommodate up to 8 people. This house is located in Suffolk, England, and it is one of the first five homes from Alain De Button’s Living Architecture Project. Living Architecture is a series of holiday homes around UK designed by emerging and established architects. The house is furnished by interior design firm Studio Makkink Bey. Take a look.

The exterior of the house is designed with reflective metal sheets.

More than 50% of the balancing barn is suspended above the ground.
