Norwegian architectural practice Jarmund/Vigsnæs have designed the Twisted Cabin in Kvitfjell, Norway. The holiday home for a large family is located 1000m above the ocean and close to the ski slopes. The holiday cabin has seven floor levels connected differently to the surrounding terrain. These different floor levels give various internal and external views. The facade and roof of the cabin are clad in wood and the whole interior is clad in oak to give a warm feeling to the inhabitants in the wintertime.
