Danish practice Mette Lange Architects have designed a vacation home in Henne, Denmark. The small vacation house is located in the big dunes next to the Northern Sea on the Danish west coast. The building is surrounded by grass. The irregular house has a courtyard facing south, to embrace light and sun, and provide shelter. A cantilevered balcony faces west to the sea. With respect to an old Danish building tradition, the exterior is clad with black painted pine. The house is built by carpenter Blaabjerh Huge.
