Korean industrial designer Jang Wooseok has designed Bisynk, a sink where user have to pedal in order to get the water from it. The designer wants the user to appreciate the water and consume it responsibly. In designer’s words, “People flush out the water while brushing, shaving, and soaping like a habit. So I create Bisynk, hope to be a mental campaign, to give a motivation or rewards to individual. Of course, reducing the wasting of water also could be another substantial benefit from Bisynk. Think about driving a car. While driving, we always try to control our driving thoroughly, because it costs our lives. In the same way, if we have to peddle to get your water like a cost, then you never want unnecessary water.”
