German company Dornbracht has presented a new fitting for the bathroom, DEQUE, designed by Seiger Design, at ISH trade fair in Frankfurt (15 to 19 March, 2011). The design of the fitting is characterized by its flat wide projection and the way it disperse the water. The water comes out in the individual streams which provide a gentle and elegant experience to the user. Here is some information by the designer, “The fitting’s minimalist shape as the source of the gentle presentation of water. Following the natural movement of water through the architecture takes you on a journey through the series’ different applications. Precise, geometric shapes create a monolithic landscape of chrome and matt black. Water becomes a stimulating element in this technoid-like design, and the water’s surface becomes part of the architecture.”
