The Flying Tiles concept was designed by Sophie Mensen. The concept was to create a space below the feet which gives the feeling of weightlessness and flying. Designer’s Words, “The creation of a space bellow the feet, can give the illusion on weightlessness, the feeling of flying. Hot water begins the process by immersing you in warmth and comfort, but your fixation to the present is solidly directed to the floor below. By creating an ever changing space under the body, the illusion of complete buoyancy is achieved ever more clearly.” – Sophie Mensen.
