Wogg 49 is a modern wardrobe cabinet system which features a flexible roller-door system. Designed by Atelier Oi, the wardrobe has a simple yet elegant exterior design. Following is the description provided by the designer, “Container-type furniture has always featured prominently in the Wogg inventory. New technical solutions are always a trigger for the development of new forms and variations. This applies particularly to the Wogg 49 roller-door system. This novel creation is a logical extension of Wogg’s successful line of cupboards. The design does not compromise on the principle of quick, easy and unimpeded opening; no doors or other features obstruct the opening of the container.”
The Wogg 49 roller-door system impresses customers with the simple elegance of its exterior. The notched aluminium panels, milled from a single sheet, are only two millimetres thick, resulting in a lightness that is essential for the smooth action of the casters. At the core of the design is a compact roller element combining the dual functions of rolling and dragging. This innovative roller component has been patented. The design ensures that there are few limits placed on the size, shape and function of the cupboards.”
