German firm Paulsberg Furniture has designed Albatros couch which combines haptic quality with familiar functionality. In designer’s words, “Inspired by the big sea birds wingspan, the design of albatros is powerful and dynamic, yet delicate and ergonomically shaped. Showing the possibilities of the carbon-concrete-composite, the couch spans 3 meters with a material thickness of only 1 centimeter.” The furniture is made for indoor uses and can be used in living room or offices.
