1. Gothic Chair
Dutch design firm Studio Job has designed the Gothic Chair for Moooi. Here is some information by Moooi, “Studio job designed the gothic chair for the recently renovated Groninger Museum, in the Netherlands, where they also designed the interior for the job lounge and other areas of the museum. Studio job has re-interpreted the solid wood and romantic elegance of the gothic style and presented a playful, light chair made from brightly colored rotation molded plastic and contrasting ‘upholstery’ buttons.”

2. Unique Chair Design ‘TubeME’
A student from Danish Design School, Ellinor Ericsson has designed a chair called TubeMe which was exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011. In the designer’s words, “The TubeMe chair is about a tactile interaction with a chair. You are able to braid the naked chair with pillow tubes creating your own upholster with the different textiles. While actually sitting in the chair you can interact with it by using the tubes or just throw them around you and fall asleep being embraced.”
3. Compact And Multipurpose Cabinet Chair
The Cabinet Chair is compact and multipurpose furniture. It was first designed for a hotel lobby. The user can sit in the chair and have a look at the brochures, books, and magazines in this cabinet. Moreover, it is possible to use the internet with a built-in monitor and keyboard. It’s the perfect information desk with a twist for libraries, flexible working places, a waiting room or it can be used as reading room furniture in homes too.
4. Monster Chair
The unique Monster Chair was designed by Korean designer Jinyoung Choi. In his words, “Monster Chair underlines the existence of furniture itself and the person sitting on that by making two-dimensional seat to weighty mass. When you look at that front ways, you see the feature well. The monster chair was designed for the ideal graph furniture collection project.”
5. Spike Chair
Designer Alexander Lervik has created the Spike Chair. The chair has a unique shape. The Spike chair is produced by Gallery Pascale in limited numbers. Here is a description from the designer, “The Spike chair is unique in shape. The seat and seat back are fashioned from a number of rods, like a bed of nails, which collectively mimic the curve of a body. The base of the chair is made of tubular steel, welded together with a three-millimeter steel base plate. The upper section is made of turned ash components.
