Divis Dining Table by Mike and Maaike

Divis is a solid wood dining table designed by Mike & Maaike for Council Design. The table features strength, pliability and the natural character of wood are expressed through a structural narrative of planned imperfections. In designer’s words, “A rectangular top split by supporting legs creates a surface locked in a perpetual state of tension. The Divis Table’s refined joinery and unique treatment creates a visually arresting yet functional piece.

Its gaps naturally lend themselves to wire management, making this a stunning piece for conference table applications in both the standard length and in a long version. Stable and sturdy, the solid wood structure is available in blackstained ash, whitestained ash or natural poplar.”
