Flexible Shelf by Enrique Romero

Spanish designer Enrique Romero has designed this flexible shelf. The shelf is made of a flexible strip placed over four bars fixed on a plate. The strip adjusts itself and creates storage space according the items placed in it. The bars can be placed on different holes on the plate to create storage space for different items. In designer’s words, “Shelf composed from a thermoformed polystyrene base module which makes the whole a light and stable piece. The bars can be place responding to different necessities, doing the fabric passes through them and creating the sustaining element. The packing is flat by the mobility of the bars.”
