The architectural and design studio “Torafu” created a collection of furniture with dimensions specialized for smaller interiors. The collection is a project that was realized in cooperation with “Hida Sangyo”, a renowned Japanese manufacturer of wooden furniture.
The collection is symbolically named Cobrina, originating from the Japanese word “koburi-na” used to describe things that are tiny and miniature. Cobrina is comprised of a sofa, dining table, chairs, bench, club-table, two shelves and a hanger.
The basic feature of the elements is their simple structure with small dimensions, designed in order to fit in smaller contemporary homes. Unlike the robust pieces of furniture that can’t easily be moved around the home, all Cobrina elements have an extremely light structure made of wood that is flexible and can be used for various purposes depending on the needs of the users.
