Young designers Andrew Williams and Tom Huang have created the Infinity Bench. The design explores the possibilities of bamboo strip construction. The bench is composed of two hollow tubes, one big and one small, made of bamboo strips. The smaller tube is inserted into the bigger one and the gap between two tubes is filled with vacuum formed acrylic. “The Infinity Bench was originally designed to be used as public seating in the lobby of a museum or gallery.”
