Developed by Micasa Lab, the iRock is a rocking chair with a built-in iPad dock and stereo speakers. The kinetic energy generated by the back and forth movement of the chair is converted into electrical energy by a generator mounted under the rocking chair.
You can connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, listen to your favorites songs while the iRock recharges the battery of your gadget. One hour of rocking generates enough power to recharge up to 35% of the battery’s capacity.
The built-in dock only supports last generation of Apple gadgets but the package comes with an adapter for connecting new generation Apple gadgets with Lighting connector. The rocking chair has a very traditional design and is made of Swedish pine.
