The kerFchair is a flat pack furniture unit created by Israel-based designer Boris Goldberg. The designer has used the simple kerfing technique to bend a single flat board of birch wood into a chair. According to the designer, “The kerFchair is flat pack furniture. It is manufactured out of a flat board of birch wood. The legs are the structure and the bending tool of the chairs base. The bending is possible thanks to the kerfing technique. The whole chair is manufactured in a CNC router machine.”
