Felix Haeffner and Julia Wolf have created a modular furniture system called Kuli. It is a coffee table, a stool or an armchair with extra storage space. The furniture is made of a simple steel wire basket with an alu board on top. The basket is full of cushions in several different sizes which consist of styrofoam pellets. The user can arrange the cushions like sandbags to create a firm back to lean on. The cushions are held in place with rubber ropes that are hooked into the grid.
