Italian designer Irene Girelli has created the Metrie Chair. The design and appearance of the chair was inspired by “the difference in the World of structures, between forms, curves and linear shapes, soft shapes and rigid shapes.”
The seat and backrest are created through firm lines, organized around a strong and sharp-cornered structure. The legs on the other hand are refined and create a cone, combining subdued lines.
The opposing shapes distinguish among in a determined way, but they elegantly accept the sharing of creation into a unique style.
