German designer Kieser Spath has designed the Emma, a multipurpose furniture unit which combines chair and a stool/side table. In designer’s words, “Emma is an object for the quiet moments of life. You can use it alone or share it with other people. It offers you a place to feel good and enjoy. You can use it to read a book, work on your notebook, to fasten one‘s shoes or just revel yourself and many more.
The design is very pure and straight but implies cosiness. It is a charming object that is not intrusive but will take it space wherever it appears. As Materials we used ash-wood and a cushioned seat shell.”
