Spain-based Russian designer Anna Lotova has created the Oxymoron desk. The surface of the desk is made by sandwiching two thick layers of foam between a pair of plywood sheets. The design represents “an interaction between two physically opposite materials, in which they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another”. You can store stationery and other objects between the two layers of foam.
