The Design and Architecture Studio “Bureau de change” designed a playful furniture collection for the British brand Efasma. Inspired by traditional Greek techniques of the local craftsmen , the designers created pieces of furniture with a contemporary character and interesting forms.
The collection consists of handcrafted chairs with frames of walnut and seats tailored as traditional woven baskets from soft and solid cotton, as well as tables with walnut frames and glossy wooden and marble surfaces. Interesting features that make the furniture unique, contemporary and practical are the unusual shapes in which the tables and chairs converge as puzzles. Therefore each piece is an essential element of the collection to function as a practical whole created for modern interiors. The innovative collection of furniture “Bureau de change” is a homage to the traditional craftsmanship in Greece.
