Ripple by London-based designer Benjamin Hubert is the world’s lightest 8 feet wooden table. Designed in collaboration with manufacturer Corelam, the table weighs just 20 pounds. It is made of corrugated plywood sheet created by Corelam. The corrugated plywood panel is much thinner, uses less material and weighs less than an ordinary plywood panel of the same size and strength. The Ripple table was presented during the London Design Festival 2013 along with other creations by the designer.
