“Surface” is a modern storage cabinet designed by Swedish designer Jessika Källeskog of CONTOUR. With a simple appearance and sculptural influences, the continuous lines develop planes into three-dimensional artifacts. The cabinet is made of wood and laminated by Oak veneer. In designer’s words, “The front of the cabinet provokes a living bulging shape in a harmonic wave, as a result from a plane that has been folded by a soft curved division.
The inspiration arrives from plane square surfaces with a division of lines and arcs that gives the development of concave and convex shapes, creating the front and the left side of the cabinet.
