Young designer Lucas Martin has created the Sweep Table. The concept of the table is based on the Japanese rock gardens. Hand-blown glass vessels break the tabletop surface just like rocks in the garden. The glass vessels also serve as functional containers. The structure of the table is made of blackened steel and the tabletop is made by joining several white oak planks together.
According to the designer, “A culmination of three elemental materials, the Sweep table embodies the harmony that exists between beauty and strength.”
