Tension Furniture is a unique and elegant furniture series. Designed by Los Angeles based studio FOBricated, the design of the furniture uses composite wood boards and ratchet straps. As the name indicates, the plywood panels are held in tension in different positions to create different furniture units like chairs, tables and benches using ratchet straps. The construction of the design is so simple that you can easily redesign the furniture units as you want and no screws, nails or tools are required for this. Take a look at the pictures.
