Swedish designer Markus Johansson has designed a versatile chair called Nest Chair. In designer’s words, “A bit of nature moves into the cozy homes and breaks the straight, rigid and traditional forms, a location in your home where you can curl up for a moment of rest or for a fairy tale moment. Orderly chaos of pins that have become a both asymmetric and symmetrical furniture.
I wanted to create a piece where I break loose from the traditional in the furniture design and thus find an exciting design language. The furniture is made of braids round rods and consisting entirely of free forms with no right angles, and of curves, environmentally friendly, made entirely of wood.”
