Kiki van Eijk designed a collection of wooden furniture with ceramic drawers for the Zuiderzee Museum. The seven installations by the designer are based on the applied art collection of the museum and the history of Zuiderzee. The designer paid several visits to the depot and stayed on the museum for a long period and designed new objects referring to everyday domestic customs and crafts. The furniture, the ceramics and the fabrics used in the design have been manufactured using traditional methods.
