Paris based studio Schemaa have renovated and extended an old apartment located in Paris. The renovation adds functional stripes to the inner space that contain storage units and other functional entities of the house.
The first strip set between entrance and the dining cum living area integrates kitchen cabinet and storage unit. The second functional strip is a staircase that leads to the bedroom located in the attic. The area under the staircase is utilised for storage.
To free up some space in dining and living room, the dining table can be dismantled and mounted on the wall. Orange color is used as an accent color throughout the apartment including coat hooks, kitchen tiling, dining stools and lighting.
