Variety of colors, comfortable spaces to read, rest and play are skillfully integrated in the interior of the primary school King Solomon in Israel. This playful space that offers a creative and relaxed learning atmosphere is developed under the project of the architects from “Shoshany Architects”.
The idea of the Architectural Studio was to create an exciting and interesting area of study and to move away from the idea of the classic layout of classrooms and facilities in schools. The star of David symbol was the formal inspiration for the design as a symbol of man’s relationship with the community, nature and moral values.
Some classrooms have interesting spaces for relaxation, reading, playing, full of bright and vibrant colors and soft comfortable chairs, where children can be isolated from the noise and rest or study. The cafeteria is especially interesting, which is covered with symbols related to food in various colors.
The library is also a fun place, where shelves are designed as bus stops, so that children can fantasize that they are waiting for a bus trip through the world of books and stories.
