Pastel gray atmosphere complemented by strong yellow and purple accents dominates in the “Vila Leopoldina Loft” in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The project design for the apartment is a work of the architectural studio “Diego Revollo Arquitetura”. The team, guided by the wishes of the owner, a young musician and actor, developed a concept in which social and private spaces will be separated only by a curtain, a concept reminiscent of the theatrical scene.
For the whole structure of the apartment a single material was chosen – burnt cement, which covers the floor, walls and ceiling. The usage of only one material was supplemented with a mix of strong colors that create pleasant harmony in the interior.
The combination of yellow and purple nuances refreshes the rough side of the burnt cement and thus brings modernity in the space. The living room is characterized by a high degree of comfort provided by the large comfortable sofa in “L” shape. This room is bright, open and free in order to achieve the desired comfort that is needed for the living room. The architects also created a small office with acoustic isolation that allows the owner to work from home.
