With the idea of practical and creatively designed room for teenagers, the Russian architectural studio “INT2 architecture” created a large multifunctional construction which merges the bed, drawers, closet and a library. The design resembles a large, deep cube that has all the elements without the walls being covered with closets, wardrobes, library and bed. At the same time it creates a kind of private bubble where the owner of the room, in this case 14-year-old girl, can be in her own world.
The entire structure is built into the wall. The bed is centrally positioned and the closets are placed on both sides. As the architects explain, in order to create a space that would be more natural, more modern, comfortable and stylish, all elements had to be merged together into one structure.
This idea freed more than half of the space in the room. Apart from the modern desk, there is also a multifunctional area that acts as a mirror projector and a blackboard that can be used to further decorate the room.
The idea of “INT2 architecture” created more practical and orderly layout of the room, which gives both minimalist, natural and modern look.
