Italian kitchen brand GeD Cucine has created the Energy kitchen furniture series. The modular design of the kitchen is focused on the balance between form and function. Following is a description from the designers, “This modern offering is an ideal first kitchen for people who want quality at competitive prices. It can cater to the real demand on the market and steers clear of aesthetic extravagance and superfluousness.
Energy has flat, 20 mm thick doors with 4 thermoset melamine surface designs: Matrix, Grafis, Tranché and the brand new Larix (White and Brown). There are also a further three door varieties made of MDF with a polymer coating and edges produced with LaserTec technology in the colours white and beige. 25 different types of chrome-plated or painted handles can be combined with the different looks, for complete customization. The edges are made of ABS that can withstand high temperatures thanks to the special polyurethane glues used.”
