Carmen is a family of lighting units designed by Hector Serrano for FontanaArte. The lighting collection consists of floor lamp, table lamp and pendant lamp will be launched at Euroluce, the International Lighting Exhibition running from 12 to 17 April, 2011 in Milan, Italy. In designer’s words, “A family of lights inspired by old armours. A perfect combination of decorative and pleasant direct light that gives character to any space. A very feminine form that comes alive when the light escape in a gentle way throughout the different layers, creating an interesting game of light and shadow.
The layers, cut on thin steel sheet and lacquer on white, give a delicate feel and at the same time reflects the light perfectly, three low energy lights bulbs ensure great intensity of light with minimum energy consumption.”
