Dado is a cubic suspended lamp created by Berlin-based designer Julian Appelius in collaboration with German company Pulpo. The cubic light is made of powder-coated, 1.5 mm thick steel plates and the lampshade is made out of frosted acrylic sheet. The two different materials of the lamp are fixed together using three magnets which are glued into the corners of the acrylic lampshade and cling to the steel plate. The Dado is available in two sizes, 150 mm x 150 mm and 220 mm x 220 mm and in many bright colors.
