The LED Shade Lamp, designed by Peter Bristol amazes as there is no bulb, no holder, in fact there is nothing inside the shade. From distance, the lamp appears as a usual desk light, but when you see it closely you will surprise to notice that the shade has nothing inside and is completely open on topside. The LED lights are placed inside the body of the lamp shade itself.
In designer’s words, “Sometimes you don’t miss the things that are missing. By placing an array of LEDs on the inside of the lamp shade, the shade itself becomes the source of light and the bulb can be removed. The lamp’s character is inviting, but leaves the surprise inside discoverable.”
